This is my ideas dump. <- Oooh! Sheer poetry!

Like other threads here, this is where I pitch ideas, hoping for feedback and interest from future co-writers.

I've been playing with some ideas around the theme of rescue.

One story along such a theme would be a hostage rescue situation where a female journalist is rescued by Navy SEALs or Delta operators or some other alphabet soup organization. The start of the thread would be very violent and dramatic with not much for the female protagonist to do but react to events as they unfolded.

The story could then focus on how she either abhors the fact that people were killed to rescue her and her attempts to track down and confront her rescuers, or that she tries to track down her rescuers to show her gratitude. Or a mixture of both. This story is in the safe hands of Angeleyz

Another idea for a thread is about a man down on his luck who finds himself saving a woman from attempted rape. The woman could be anything from a supernatural creature with temporarily weakened powers to a rich woman in the wrong neighbourhood at the wrong time or a woman equally down on her luck. Or again, something in between. This story is now in the safe and able hands of prettyserpentine. It's called "Strings for the veteran."

I'm also a sucker for stories in modern (The last 150-200 years) historical settings.

I am also set on a scenario where a marooned man or woman meets and teaches a marooned woman/man about sex and love.

There was also a description of a woman watching another woman being brought to orgasm on a crowded subway I found enticing.

A man obsessed by a woman living in a semi-secluded or secluded house spies on her until he can't contain himself. This thread can turn very dark.

A young catholic priest and a young woman fall in love. She tearfully admits her love for him in the confessional before she flees. He catches a glimpse of her hair and her scent as she vanishes. She might be a nun or a young catholic woman. We can sketch out the details by PM before we start. I'm thinking there will be a lot of agony and soulsearching for the both of them while they are helplessly drawn to one another.

A man and a woman, married, but not to each other. They might be neighbours that live in the same block of apartments, casual greetings, developing into banter that ends up with flirtation and falling in love. They might be colleagues, having a good rapport between them, being sent off to a convention together. There they realise that they have more than quick and friendly banter in common. Or it could be a chance encounter, love at first sight.

Modern fantasy: an experiment gone wrong tears a hole in the fabric of our universe, and magic (so carefully extinguished) and mythical beings are again a part of our world. Werecreatures, vampires, fairies etc. again walk the earth, and long dormant hereditary powers again manifest themselves. 10 years after "the tear", and there rages a bloody and unforgiving war between "normals" and "mythicals". This setting might serve as a backdrop for multiple stories.

One thread is about a male virgin on the brink of a frustrated breakdown whose luck suddenly turns, though he doesn't realise it at first. PM me for details.

Taming the beast: a werewolf on the rampage becomes self aware only when he stalks and assaults the woman he loves. Details to be fleshed out.

A norwegian wood nymph (ask me!) sets out, determined to find the man of her dreams. (Chances of comedy here.)

Taming the brat.

A young spoilt woman of position or wealth is, with her father's consent, kidnapped on her 18th birthday. Her father has decided that she needs to be taught a lesson in humility. One of her father's trusted men is tasked with teaching her the lesson. The brat in question might be a fairytale princess or a modern day rich man's daughter.

I am also in the mood for one of the classics: blackmailing a woman into becoming my plaything. Either that, or slowly convincing a young impressionable woman to become my property.

I am currently exploring a werewolf theme on another site. I'd like to some day try a slightly different approach here. It is about a werewolf's redemption. (No, there will be no bestiality. All sex will be in human form.) I was thinking a female counterpoint to the brute and savage force that is the werewolf. Like, say, a ballerina.

The Guardian.

I am considering starting up again, but at a diminished pace.

I have an idea for a horror style romance called The Guardian.
The guardian in question is a self-aware ghost recruited at the time of its death to watch over a woman or man (depends on who's playing the guardian).

For whatever reason, the forces of Evil are out to get the guardian's charge, and it is up to the guardian to stop them. Of course the guardian falls for its charge, and strange things start to happen.
