I posted this for Kbate on another forum, and put it here because it's a nice idea:

On the day of run out and buy all the local and national newpapers, magazines, etc. Get NYT, Washington Post, WSJ, TV Guide, Time, Newsweek, etc. Maybe some specialty mags - if it's a boy he'll love having Car and Driver from the month he was born. Put them all in a plastic storage container. Give it to the mom after things have settled down, and she and baby will have a lovely lifelong memento.

I saw this TV-show where a woman showed a video of her childbirth to her teenage daughter.

The teenager waited several years before she started to have sex.

Unfortunately, so did the woman's husband...
