The Las Vegas Review Journal ran the Super Bowl odds today. Green Bay if 5-1, the Saints are 6-1, Cleveland and five other teams are 100-1.
Peyton Manning is on the way out of Indy and he could end up with a team in the 40-1 to 50-1 category. The right fit (solid defense, two really good receivers, OK running game and a slightly above average offensive line) could put one of those longshots in the Super Bowl.
I think Miami might describe the right fit, and right now they're 50-1.
I'm feeling pretty reckless. Before Manning makes it official, I might just take a chance and put $10 down on who I think he'll sign with.
I know, it's risky. But that's just how I roll.
