Newly published story not showing in "new" section for tags

Hi there,
Recently had my first story published. I've noticed however that it only shows at the top when filtered "newest" in specific tags on "last 30 days" and "last 7 days." It doesn't appear when the default filter of "all time" is sorted by "newest" in the story tags portal > specific tag section.

Is this just due to some site slowness?
I understand some things can take time to update across the site. I just wanted to ask and see if this was common, as I assumed it would be at the top of "all time" considering it is the newest story in some of the story tags.

Top of "all time" is the domain of much older stories, as they will have many, many times more views than anything recent.

Various sections of the site update at different rates - the "master score" is, however, the one shown on your control panel - so far as I can see, it updates in real time.
