Hi folks
I'm still getting to grips with the platform software. I don't know what's my lack of understanding and what's a buggy or inconsistent user interface.

I have a bunch of chapters in a series. The first two of which are published but are not showing as being in a series either in my published works or just generally for the category. They and the as yet unpublished draft chapters show as a series on the series page - Is this lag in updating things, a bug I should report? a feature (!?)

One of my chapters shows two comments on the summary page I get But only one comment on the story page

But see here

These are two snippets of one picture.

That seems like a bug It's been like it since yesterday . I thought leaving it overnight might see an update process that would bring the things into alignment but I haven't seen that yet and I don't know whether this is something that it would be helpful to the platform admins to report or whether it's correct operation and I just am missing how to navigate correctly.

I found that the overall processes to be unintuitive in many spots and the editing user experience UX seems to me rather clunky but again I don't know whether that's just my lack of understanding how to use the tools properly?

I haven't found any FAQ/ 101s on platform usage other than conventions like "don't ask How the sweep is done"(!)

Also I've seen references to "message Lauren/ Manu" But as yet nothing that says how to.

Any advice gratefully received
Ciao

No. Nearly every page on Lit has a lag of one sort or another, and the Series function goes off for some kind of review (I don't know what), which brings a delay.

Your dashboard should be the master.

You're navigating okay. The platform has a whole bunch of different refresh cycles. Nothing is ever in synch.

Editing - you have to resubmit edited text as if it was a new submission. You can't edit published content yourself.

Envelope top right of this page. Start a new conversation with Laurel. Depending on the question you might get an answer, you might not - you might get a resolution, or you might not.

It's not your lack of understanding. Lit is, ultimately, the product of a small independent limited company. Stuff falls through the cracks.
