newbies breaking in.......

Hi- This one goes out to the Lit users who have been around for awhile. Are there any pieces of advice you have for breaking the ice? I've been reading the boards for a little while now, and I notice there seem to be 2 types of posters- those who are the creatively bankrupt "I'm horny...PM me" and those who seem to get along like old friends. Those are the people that I want to get to know, but this is my first post. Any suggestions? All replies welcome and thanks!

Your thoughts on the types of people are right on...If your looking for friends and to just smile and share some life....then post to the people that seem to fit your emotional side. Their are some great people here and you'll fit in great...
Try introducing yourself in the "hugs" thread....the people are great there and will welcome you.

Hi and welcome to Lit and the Playground. Remember one thing, we were are newbies at one time. Sometimes it seems like it is hard to fit in, but really it isn't. There has been alot of nice advice given to you. The games are fun, you can introduce yourself and they are a good way to get your post count up to get an av. There are regional threads, so if there is one from where you are from..you already have something in common with them. There are all kinds of thread and different likes, etc.. there is something here for everyone! Like Stud said the hugs thread is a great place to get lots of hugs and friends that will be there for you if you ever need them. I am sure that you will find your little niche here. Just jump in and have some fun. There are alot of great ppl here. But as I think that you already have probably noticed ppl that are rude, disrespectful do not get very many responses and when they do they are usually not good responses. Just be nice, respectful and have fun, that is why we are all here!
