Newbie questions and request

So I posted a story a little while ago here:

but have never been able to log in under my original name. Today I finally re-registered under a different one. I sent several requests for support on the login procedure and got no help. Sigh. Soooo, here's a request for feedback on the story and help on the technical aspects if anyone has any to offer. Thanks!

I always wondered how mermaids had sex. Now I know I liked it as you wrote an interesting and imaginative story that kept me reading on. Now you just need a better title, as "Float" was too bland and uninformative. If you want people to read it when searching the lists, you need to draw their attention.

As a first story it was absolutely great!! I loved the theme and your style. Very imaginative; and informative too, as fairy pointed out, lol.

One question though:
"Once, away from the vessel, she'd jumped, her body arching away from the water, breasts lifted to the sky, her back bent impossibly backwards. Beautiful. Her hair moved in the air the way hair does in water, each strand floating. "

Her hair moved in air as it does in water.. when its dripping wet? I know this is sci-fi and anything is possible... but - HOW?
