you will need to enable Private Messaging first for anybody to be able to PM you.... you do not have it currently enabled.....

You enable PM's by going to your User Control Panel (upper LH corner)....then to "Edit Optioins".... then check the "Enable Private Messaging"... the third box down under Messages and Notifications..... then Save It....
