Not sure if it's appropriate to ask a question in this forum. I just submitted three poems and I didn't see any place where you can change the color background, font, test color, etc. Am I missing something?

I have been reading some of the poetry here and noticed these editing tools seem to be available but I can't seem to find them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Lia

Hi, Lia, and welcome-

You can change font type, size and colour here in the forums, but not in poems submitted to the main Literotica site. The layout there is the same for all poems and stories: Verdana 10, black.

The only work-around is to turn your poem into a JPG and then submit it as an illustrated poem, but that does limit the size and hence readability.

Illustrated poems also take much longer to post.

11, possibly 12 to be fair. But yah, you can't change the size.

You can make it bold with <b></b> tags and italic with <i></i> tags though.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Still trying to figure out how to add color to my text once it's been approved and posted. Guess I am having a blonde moment here or just need to figure out the logistics of this board.

Thanks for the welcome. - empress

VB codes and how to make BOLD/ITALIC and more

I believe that in order for these to work in a submission the [ ] bracets are substituded with <>

vB code does not work in regular submissions. The only thing that works is, as Liar said, bold, italic and underline html code. Lia, there is no way to add colour to your text in submissions, only here in the boards.

this is correct, you can not add color but use <i> </i> for italic and <B> </B> for bold. Is this correct for submissions?
