There are some unwritten rules of the srp game, that take a bit of getting used to. One is "Don't write words or actions for my character". I think I pissed some people off until I got used to this. It can make the stories read rather oddly, but you get used to it.
Have a look through the 'seeking role players' thread and see what you like, or post your own story ideas there. You can either plan out the story in advance by pm, or not - it's quite fun if neither of you knows which way the other one is going to turn the story.
Another thing is, be prepared for your writing partner to give up or disappear completely without any explanation. Similarly, don't get upset if you send someone a pm and they don't reply.
