Now in my mid twenties, I find myself as the third(or fifth, seventh, eleventh) wheel amidst most of my peers. I am living with my best friend, who is living with his girlfriend. It's a good arrangement all around, but it leaves me a lot of observence time with the two of them. I alternate between jealousy and relief, usually residing somewhere inbetween. My other friends are married. Well out of nowhere it's the middle of december and my all oh-so-attached friends are making new years plans. I bartened for the past few years and haven't had to tackle the problem of doing something or not doing something. Now people want to go here and there and it costs this much for this or that and I'd just assume buy a few bottles of decently priced champagne and discuss how cool I am for not having to go out on new years.
