Work, go home, eat dinner, watch a movie or something and go to bed. We might split a bottle of wine or champagne just for the heck of it. I do like good champagne once in a great while.
Mama always said nothing good happens after midnight and I have learned over the years that she was correct so I try to hit the hay by 11:30.

As the new year is a simple function of the Gregorian calendar, I do not understand why I need to make any plans to bring it into being. My only plan concerning the changeover of the year is to take the 2015 calendar off of my kitchen wall, drop it in the bin and replace it with the new one I am certain to get as a gift from one of my kids.

My plans are, as always, super secret for no good reason.

But I did just fly up the 405 with my convertible top down. It's not New York type of heat outside, but it'll do. Should be nice in HB, too.

Thanks for asking us, OP.

I only enjoyed Christmass when I was growing up.
Now it's lackluster, as I see it, just another day off for me.

I Love NY's celebrations, tho.
The highlight of the day for me will be joining the crowd in the town's square. Masses of people of different age groups, cheering and being silly. The City Council also does an amazing job with the spectacle and fireworks.

I might post some pics. of the fireworks later on.
