After a bit of wincing and buttock-clenching, I got cross with this;

BBC - New warning on 'perfect vaginas'

I'm no great feminist and I can understand cosmetic surgery thru breast implants down to Cher having a rib removed - but this just seemed beyond the pale. If he (or she) doesn't admire the architecture they don't have to go inside.

Notice the male cosmetic surgeon advocating the benefits. Has he had a penis extension fitted.

Just needed to let off steam.

I AM a feminist, and I totally get cosmetic surgery-- and sometimes i wish more men would get it ;)

and this is infuriating, you're right E.O. "dark and hangs down" sounds like heaven to me. She doesn't need vaginoplasty, she needs an appreciative lover.

Obviously any one pressurizing some one else to get that procedure would be a special form of scum. How ever I also find men who encourage their partners to get boob jobs deplorable.

However a lot of women get boob jobs done for their own esteem and happiness? In turn I think both genders could agree, feeling that your genitalia were unsightly or something you needed to be embarrassed off would be debilitating?

Were it my partner, unless the case of hypertrophy? Was sever enough to some how impact our sex life. I would never encourage or be in favor of her going through a procedure for something aesthetic that has such a minimal impact. Conversely for a single lady, who spends hours a week in a gym, eats healthy and puts effort into having an elegant appearance. Surely to feel ashamed or find their own vagina ugly must be dreadful.

If we can condone a boob job as acceptable surely this is no different? Its all about motive for desiring a change, any change physical or emotional to solely please others is questionable. If how ever it is something a lady wishes to do for herself, I cannot count it as worse than many procedures.
In fact it seems less intrusive and likely no more risky than a boob job.

I am not a fan of plastic surgery and would never encourage it outside of medical need for burns and scars, personally. How ever I cannot bring myself to see this as better or worse than a boob job I suppose.

I've always been of a slightly mixed mind on plastic surgery.

First off, if there was a safe and effective way to make dicks bigger, you know half them men who could afford it would get it. And while most women don't want a foot-long monster, I have certainly had female friends lament the fact the new guy they're dating is great in every way but somewhat underendowed.

I think most of the time plastic surgery is a bad idea and really a mental issue. But there are cases where surgery can help someone change something that is a legitimate hindrance in the cold, cruel world of sexual attraction and gain both self-esteem, sexual confidence, and attract more desirable partners.

Most vaginas are beautiful or at least totally acceptable. But I'll admit in my porn viewing I've seen one or two where I wouldn't fault the woman if she decided to change it.

I just find it really sad. From my understanding, the recovery on this surgery is utter hell, and the results are not as pristine as they are touted to be.

I will never in my life understand why women can't accept their beautiful sex organ and love it for what it is. (No doubt some men want them to do it, and if that's the case, I respect their decision if they want to please their partner. I still find it unfair though.) I find a woman's sex, mine included, utterly gorgeous--like an inverted flower that I love to gaze at, inhale and caress.

Now this opinion will probably get me in trouble but all the evidence I see is quite clear. Women do not dress or have plastic surgery for men. If you all really wanted to make us happy with your appearance, you would stop dieting and trying to fit into size 3 dresses. Plastic surgery is the same thing. These ladies are rarely trying to look good for some guy. Why? Because he's less interested interested in looking at it than using it, that's why. So, it's all a self-image thing brought about from looking at too many professional models. It's all the same thing with clothes. Runway models are freaks of nature. Real women don't look like that and should stop trying to. I'm not "blaming the victim". Individual choices are the individual's. The problem comes in uninformed choices.

If a woman is going to put on make up, and bobby-pin her hair, and push her boobs up with a special bra, and puff her lips up with collagen, wouldn't it be a logical step for her to bobby-pin her labia? Or permanently bobby-pin her labia with surgery?

Speaking for myself, I prefer no make up (and no perfume!) but we all have our own tastes.

I need pictures, before and after preferred but, just before will do. I have yet to encounter an ugly vagina. The vagina taken on its own is a beautiful construction made to lure and cause men to swoon. Little folds of flesh that get all puffy and dark when aroused, my god they are beautiful.

*pant*

They must just be addicted to the knife.

Zeb, you made my day. I love you.

WTF...now I need to feel ashamed of my labia??? God dammit...it is bad enough that I wax, pluck, prop, primp and starve myself...now I should be nipping and tucking my tweeter??? ;)

Pics or it didn't happen? Jokes aside.... :)

Zeb summed it up nicely, I have never met a vagina I didn't like.
I entirely believe most plastic surgery is entirely superfluous to requirement. I dated a girl with extremely small breasts for many years. I loved those little fellas, she was delightful and they were just one awesome part of her. My only surprise was that this was seen as so far removed from a boob job. After all is it not an aesthetic procedure that makes the lady feel more sexy?

I believe any man who goes under the knife for muscle sculpting is insane as well. How ever I entirely respect his right to choose to be insane. Perhaps my likening needing a sixpack or majestic calves to needing shapely labia is wrong though?

The slit, the love grotto, the winking eye of God, the voluptuous flower of Venus....the pussy, the cunt, the love hole, the poetry of my life and the fire, flood, famine and joy of my existence: a woman's sex! Ahhhhh. Never can get enough of it.

The idea that porn exerts a big cultural influence usually angers everyone, as if porn is the only type of content to which people can be exposed in gross quantities without being influenced. Yet the stats on porn consumption tell us porn is a huge cultural presence, by virtue of quantity, if nothing else, and I'd say it's kind of hard to claim the popularity of this surgery doesn't have anything to do with it.

The pressure to conform to a certain standard of beauty is nothing new, of course, nor is the fact that women catch by far the worst of it. Private areas used to be blissfully free of societal scrutiny, though, but no longer. I recall an article about some beauty parlors offering asshole bleaching, 'cause your asshole shouldn't have any pigmentation around it. It has to be pristinely pink, as seen in porn. The same as-seen-in-porn pressure is surely behind these women's anxieties about their pussy architecture.

It's naïve to think for a minute these women just suddenly developed the idea that their pussies aren't pretty enough and hey, how great for their self esteem that something could be done about it. The insecurity is imposed from the outside and capitalized upon, and it's pretty much a perfect example of social control to which the victims willingly accede.

I find it sad and deplorable, but there's really little to do save for shake head. Once the area opened to, ah, standardization, it's inevitable the pressure would be on.

That's kinda sorta true, but of course much more complicated than you've made it sound.

I don't think it's sad or deplorable. I think it's kind of cool. You could have your pussy resculpted into a replica of the Grand Canyon at Sundown, or the Gorges of the Yang Tse, or a copy of a Georgia O''Keefe.

If I had a pussy, I'd have it reshaped to resemble the coin slot in a parking meter; neat, no-nonsense, functional. There'd be a little handle that would stimulate my clit.

I think we should do dick-o-plasty too, and not just for size. You could have your dick reshaped so it looked like a pointing finger or a hitch-hiker's thumb, or an elephant's trunk with a double piss-slit. Maybe you could have hair implants so the whole thing would be fuzzy, or have it striped like a barber pole. I'd like fins on mine so it looked like a rocket.

I'd like square balls too. With dots on them, like a pair of dice.

You, dear sir, are a strange dude!

The most beautiful and fascinating part of a woman, IS her vagina. Each and everyone is different and it expresses a unique individuality of that woman. I'd hate to see each one look the same and function the same. I think it's one of the main reason's guys can't truly settle with one woman, because of the multitude of differences in them.

I always laugh when I hear guys saying they're breast men, or leg, tit, or ass men. No matter which part they are intially interested in, it's her pussy they want to get to.

Nature made a lot of beautiful, fragrant flowers for us to enjoy and the vagina is by far, the most beautiful of all. O'Keefe's paintings depict them as works of art and sites are dedicated to just show the splendor a woman's pussy and the power it possesses.

Natural, trimmed, bald, doesn't matter, it's an intimate expression of a woman's sensuality she shares with us that makes it so appealling to see, as it goes from a normal state through to orgasm.

Damn! You do all that? How do you have time to live? I'm lucky if I remember to apply chapstick against the winter wind or comb my hair once a day. Oh, and I prefer food to starvation. Anyone who doesn't like my curves doesn't have to look.

Ridiculous. No one is coming after my pussy with a knife as long as I'm alive.

You said it, sis. Having it sliced and then stitched for childbirth was enough for me.

There once was a clever old nun, T
hat used a paring knife on her cunt,
With ability so keen,
She carved a nativity scene.
And wore her skirts open in front.

Don't be saying things like that to me Molly, I'll start asking to see pics of how pretty yours looks, but I love you too:heart:

Understanding Labioplasty and How it Can Make You the New and Better You

by: Angel Abella

Women of all ages and all walks of life want to be beautiful, maybe for their selves or maybe for their love ones. No matter what your motivation is, it is important to know what options you have, just like in the case of Labioplasty.

Here are 10 easy to remember facts on labioplasty that will help you understand how such procedure can make you a better you!

• Labioplasty is also know as Labiaplasty. It is a cosmetic procedure which centers on reducing the length or general size of the vagina’s labia majora or minora. Labia minora is also known as the woman’s “inner lips” while labia major is the “outer lips”.

• In reality, women have different labia majora and minora sizes. Although this is normal, some have such long sizes that it leads to embarrassment, frustration and low self esteem. Labioplasty shrinks the size of this area so that the inner or outer lips do not protrude as much and consequently produces a more pleasing look.
[…]

• The risks in this vaginal surgery are minimal and most often, it is due to an adverse reaction to anesthesia. A patient may induce bleeding, swelling, bruising, infection and scarring.

• The scarring brought about by this procedure is usually undetectable once healing has occurred.

[…]

[…] Other side effects include pain during urination and loss of sensation in the operated area.

In no time, you’ll be hitting the beach in the sexiest bikini. All thanks to this simple vaginal procedure called labioplasty

Designer Laser Vaginoplasty Overview

Designer Laser Vaginoplasty® (DLV®) is the aesthetic laser surgical enhancement of the vulvar structures (labia minora, labia majora, mons pubis, perineum, introitus). Although our experience and techniques provide us the ability to design most anything that one can desire, our most common DLV® procedures are as follows:

• DLV® — Laser Reduction Labiaplasty (of the labia minora) can sculpture the elongated or unequal labia minora (small inner lips) according to ones specification. Most women tell us that they do not want the small inner lips to project beyond the large outer lips. Some women bring in magazines such as Playboy and say that they want to look like this. With DLV® -laser reduction labiaplasty, we can accomplish the desires of the woman.

G-shot / G-spot Amplification

The G-Shot® is a painless office procedure performed in our office under local anesthesia. The actual injection usually takes less than 8 seconds and the total time in the examination room is usually less than 15 minutes. A specially designed speculum is used to assist in the deliver a specified amount of human engineered collagen directly into the G-Spot after local anesthesia. The G-Shot® augments (enlarges) the G-Spot. This results in a G-Spot about the size of a quarter in width, and one fourth of an inch in
height (meaning the projection into the vagina). Note that results do vary but in a recent study 87% of women had a noticeable response
