Hello all :)

I'm offering my services here as a volunteer editor. I have done ghostwriting, proof-reading and editing on various freelance sites before now, and have always enjoyed creative writing and many hobbies associated with it such as online role-playing and partaking in National Novel Writing Month.

I am open to any size of editing task. For projects over 20,000 words or that have multiple chapters, I prefer for it to be sent chapter by chapter for not just ease of editing, but for ease of taking note of the edits that I make and using them to assist in improving.

I am comfortable with any time period and setting, from modern 'slice of life' to scifi, from fantasy to historical. The only stories that I will outright refuse to edit are those that are against Literotica's TOS/rules, and anything to do with scat/watersports. Anything else will depend on the story and plot in question as to whether I take the project on or not. My speciality in editing is Gorean and BDSM.

Interesting. First time I've heard of Gorean, so I googled it.

Good luck!

Thanks. The books are quite interesting - ideally I want to reread them - but one thing that's always stressed is that there is a distinct difference between the Gor of the books, and the Gorean lifestyle; the latter is inspired by, not closely copied by the other, as there are naturally things that are not legal or permissible in modern society.

For example, you cannot kill your slave as you can in the books, but there are slaves who follow the Gorean way who talk about themselves in only third-person (professional/formal settings not included, obviously), know the slave positions, and regard the Master and their home stone as the highest. There are also male slaves as well, known as kajiru, which is something that people tend to let go by the wayside thanks to the fact that women favouring the submissive side outnumber men who do the same - but such is often how it appears to be online even outside of the Gorean subculture!
