New Toy Suggestions

My fiance and I will be married May 31. She just had her bachelorette party and we got cash that is to be used for some toys. We have some now, but not much. She does seem to really enjoy the vibrating ring that we use quite often now. I would really just like some suggestions from anyone that tried something and really liked it. Even a must have bottle of lube would be helpful. Thanks!!

Check out the Hitachi Magic Wand. Some women can't get enough of it, but it works for guys too. There are attachments (for both women and men) which fit over the wand's head. Use it on each other to enhance your lovemaking.

Another vote for the Hitachi Magic Wand. We have A LOT of toys, but the Wand w/ the 2 blue vinyl attachments (which can be sanitized multiple ways, BTW) is the multitasker that both of us reach for every time. There are some other cool attachments available, but stick with those that can be sanitized properly. Knowing what I know now, I'd build my toy collection around the Magic Wand.

If you shop around, you can find a good deal on a 16oz bottle of silicone lube. A little goes a long way, it's another multitasker (you can even use it as a skin moisturizer and lubricant for massage and such), and that bottle will probably last you many years (don't worry, it doesn't go bad). The only thing you can't use it with is toys that contain silicone, so you'll want a good water-based lube for that (I'd get one that's glycerin and artificial preservative-free).

Other than that, if there's a really good sex toy store in your area, both of you should head on in to look and feel different toys in person, then take that knowledge and maximize your budget by finding the best prices online (eBay and Amazon both have some great deals).

I suggest you have yourself a look at a good website about these, not least for advice about sizing. The best on your side of the pond, to my mind, is gearessentials. Their site is kind of primarily gay-friendly, and they are certainly good with their straight customers. For the straight ones such as ourselves, a key thing is a nice curve on the cross-section of the ring you choose, as some of the stuff they sell may be comfortable on a guy but not rubbing up against a woman's lovely private parts - you'll see what I mean when you visit!
