You might want to start by reading the "Sticky" at the top of the BDSM Talk Board. Particularly the one regarding Online Predators. I suggest you read that first thing. Be advised that Dominants may contact you offering their services as mentors. I'd gracefully decline, particularly if it came with a "collar" and a new slave name. There are submissives and slaves here on this Board who will answer your questions without such committments.

So, who am I?. I am a RT (real-time) submissive with a RT Dominant. I am also the BDSM Librarian. I'd suggest first going to a site like www.castlerealm.com and having a look around. Then come back here and doing some reading in our Library (located at the top of the BDSM Talk Board), and on the threads. Lurking, listening, participating. But going slow, and taking things step by step.

I am more than happy to help people who are new to BDSM. My fondest wish is that you take my advice on occasion.

I would very wary of anyone that PM'ed you that you have never seen post. You can do a search of screen name posts at the bottom of every main board screen and get an idea of what that person is like.
