New to this...be patient

Hi...

..for starters, this is the first time I've ever posted, let alone start a thread. I'm very new to this. Just putting myself out there and want to meet some new people.

Im 33 yr. old Midwesterner from Nebraska. I love football ( Denver baby ), cooking for family and friends and I'm a bit of a car guy. I do have a love for all things history and I love being outdoors in His creation. I have no tattoos ( still working on it ) and I enjoy art and photography.
I've never flown in a plane and I've been all over on the western side of the country and have never seen the ocean.
The last book I read was The Historian by Anna Kostova. My favorite poet is Emerson. "A friend is someone whom I may think aloud" ...a special quote for a friend.

The person I most look up to is my brother.

I've been through some of the threads in the forums and there are some really great people here...so please introduce yourselves. Thanks for reading.

Welcome...I too am new...looks like fun but I would argue about the Denver...Go Seahawks. I've also thought about a tattoo, but not there yet, and I love photography, especially sunsets and sunrises!!

I actually took some really nice sunrise pucs yesterday morning. Ill post those ...when i figure out how too. lol

The Seahawks??? ugh...well i do like there quarterback but that's about all the love i can give them.

Playground? I haven't had a chance to try that one yet. Still new and working up to it. Baby steps lol.

Its something I want to experience with someone though. Maybe a little old fashioned, but its a one time experience that i want to share and let them see my reaction. There's an intimacy in that.

Being a Denver fan means I've had to grow some thick skin when they used to suck.
I don't mind alittle hazing
I love college sports! Football, basketball and Volleyball...and no i don't watch it just for the shorts.
