Hello everyone.

My name is James.

I'm new to Literotica and posting on the forums. I wanted to say hi to everyone in the BDSM cafe. I was told about this place by my parents who are involved in BDSM. I came out to them a couple of months ago about my interest in BDSM and they recommended a few places and this was one of them.

I'm new to submission but I'd like to open up and meet people who are willing to teach, or guide, or just help me find my way as I figure everything out. I'd like to think of myself as an open person.

I'm willing to speak with Dom's of either gender and I use Yahoo voice and cam if that helps in conversations.

Thank you.

Hello, James!

Welcome to BDSM Talk and its subforum, the BDSM Cafe. A little introduction to our "normal operating procedures" may prove helpful to you, so...

Talk is pretty much our "serious" side, though a number of Cafe topics are serious as well. Talk is the place to put forth one's questions, concerns and the issues that may arise as you wander the path of the BDSM culture. It's also the place to post *your* thoughts about cocerns, issues, etc., that others bring to the board. (Just because you're a "newbie" doesn't in any way mean you have nothing to offer, like common sense, experiences, etc., you feel are applicable to the question/concern/issue!)

This forum, the Cafe, is open to a much wider variety of topics, from the ridiculous to the sublime (and outside that spectrum, too!) from the point (s) of view of a wide range of BDSMers and people who just like the ways some of us think ;)

Please pass my congratulations and admiration to your parents that they raised you in such a way that you were able to approach them on such a sensitive topic, and that they were able and willing to refer you here, which is the finest BDSM discussion site I've been able to find in > 15 years of looking and reviewing dozens (probably 2-300) of them.

Welcome! I look forward to you contributing to our discussions for years to come!

I have to say, your parents rock!
You have landed in a very good forum and for the most part will receive sensible and balanced advice (as with everywhere there are trolls)
I wish you well in your journey.
