I am new to this forum and to sub and dom. I am a dominatrix so I recently found out and I been reading upon it and I believe there are not many doms (women) about as there are subs (men). I love being the dom, I take control of something that I dont have control over in my relationship with my man, (yes, I am working with a sub) my man is a dom and I dont want that so I have to get it from somewhere. Any advice on anything that anyone can give me? Love to hear from anyone who has been a dom for years

Welcome. :)

There's nothing wrong with How To, and many of us are into BDSM, but I think your questions would be better suited to BDSM Talk forum. You may want to PM LadyG, our moderator, and ask her to move this over there when she gets a chance.

Anyway, you're right, there are generally fewer Dommes than male submissives. The good news is that we can afford to be very choosy; the bad is we have to wade through a lot of prospects to find good matches, but of course that's true in vanilla dating as well.

I'm not sure what you're looking for advice on, but in general, I'd say be sure to check out the BDSM Library sticky in BDSM Talk, and keep researching/learning. Hook up with your local lifestyle group(s)/organization(s) because you'll likely meet great people, have fun and learn a ton.

Also, act with integrity at all times. Be sure your partners know and support you in having other partners, as nothing good will come of cheating if that's something you're doing or considering (just a general warning because it seems many are secretive and dishonest with their partners about their BDSM activities).

Out of curiosity, do you mean you're a professional when you say you're a Dominatrix, as in people pay you to dominate them?

hi, thanks for the reply. I will pm ladyg to send the email over to the othe thread.

Answer to your question, no I am not a dominatrix professional, I enjoy being dominaring to others.
