New to nudism/exhibitionism

Though I have long fantasize of these things I have only just recently began exploration them. But I have a lot of questions. Primarily, what is the difference between the two? I know it might seem like splitting hairs, but I am curious. Also is it normal to be turned on by knowing someone is looking at you? It seems like most nudists don't get excited any more than a person wearing clothes, so is it just because I am new that I have this issue? Will I get used to being naked in front of others? Or will what seems more likely, that I will only get more and more excited about it, be true?

Sorry, I know that there are a lot of different subjects in there, but any thing you might have to add will be appreciated. Also I am male, just thought I would mention.

I think the difference is that nudism is a Life style while exhibitionism is someone that likes or feels a need to expose them self such as in a public place.

Exhibitionism is the joy of being watched. That is the sexual aspect. The more likely of "being caught", the hotter it is. Masturbating at a public beach is an example of exhibitionism. There is a lot of people there, surely someone will notice you masturbating. And the thrill of the idea of getting "caught" just sends you over the moon. Nudism is just a lifestyle. There isn't anything sexual about it. Being naked is natural and allows one to feel free. The philosophy basically teaches one how we all come in different shapes and sizes and to respect everyone.

In theory, nudism is non-sexual and exhibitionism is inherently sexual. The goal and purpose of exhibition is to display your naked body for the arousal of yourself and others, specifically when nudity is not permitted. In contrast, nudism is the exposure of your naked body for no sexual purpose inherently, and usually in an enviroment where nudity is (at the very least) tolerated.

In theory, the two are probably closer than most nudists would admit. Nudists have a public face and then a private one about their hobby. Nudists tend to reveal the kinky side only when pressed.

My wife and I ride our bikes to the beach several times a week. We lay out a hundred yards or so from the main public beach and always have our hands on each other. We'll start out rubbing our own privates through our swim clothing. Eventually we take over for each other, pull aside the lycra to expose flesh and orally stimulate each other. Quite often, there are ppl walking down the beach from the public area. Must admit it is a thrill licking her, and being sucked, in the sunshine as someone gets closer and closer to us. That is awesome! Thanks for sharing. This is one of my biggest fantasies. So far I've only practiced exhibition in a local pool/sauna. It has never lead to any actual contract with anyone else, but it has fueled plenty of self pleasure sessions.

Nudism or naturism is NOT something people do for tittilation or as a turn on. It's the desire to enjoy feeling free, perhaps in the sun and outdoors. It's often, perhaps even usually, a total family type activity shared with others who have the same interest, and it isn't done for the purposes of arousing yourself or anyone else sexually. It's the recognition that we are basically no different than any other animal who, under conditions not requiring protection from the elements or societial pressures, would probably function just fine without clothing.

Exhibitionism is the desire to tittilate or arouse yourself and/or others by displaying yourself naked. It's the rush a person gets from feeling "dirty" or "antisocial" rather than the disire to feel open, connected, and social. Nudists are generally ordinary people who like to enjoy life without the artificially imposed need for clothing. Exhibitionists are basically strippers and those who find a thrill in arousing or shocking other people. They are two completely different worlds.
