new to literotica and bdsm, interest in domme

forgive me my ignorance or stumbling around but new to this forum. so i'll just blurt it out. i have long suspected i have dominant tendencies. but because of my generation and socialization have always thought of it just "bitchiness". slowly i am beginning to realize it may be more than that. finding information on female dominants seems to be difficult, course i could be looking in the wrong places too. would appreciate any help/direction about BDSM from the female dominant side. thank you!

try contacting some of the Dommes that post here, i believe that any of them would be more than willing to answer any questions you may have.

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE SITE YOU HAVE! okay, i'll stop screaming now...lol. i could spend days wandering around in there. thank you ever so much. definitely bookmarked for slow read later. i've always gravitated towards pretty, silly boys. just thought i had a thing about "momma's boys" and backed away from it. beginning to see it may be more than that and here is the big AHA..its alright to want to be the dominant one in a relationship even if i am female. social bias is soooo deeply embedded in my psyche. sigh. strong, willful, ambitious women DOES NOT equate BITCH. okay, so sometimes it does and that is alright too. being 47 and raised in the south of USA..texas no less...does not make overcoming social bias easy. i appreciate your help. thank you again.

As for the element of what it truly feels like, developing your own vision and philosophy, read, learn and when you are ready , find a real time partner with whom you connect in and out of a D/s scene.

This isn't a bad suggestion, but unfortunately, for some of us, most of the erotic fiction out there that is "BDSM" or "FemDom" just doesn't fit us - Holly and I have basically discovered what we aren't interested in by reading it, rather than finding anything that really suits us ... we're basically just playing it by ear as we go along, and that is working pretty well (just ask ghosstie ).
