Well, finally gathered enough courage to say hello, so hi everybody.....i'm not brand new, actually, kinda used...

Seems everyone here in the lit is an accomplished writer, or a very good actor....just want to say i love reading all of it, and feel privaleged to write with some.....

Does that count as sufficient brown nosing? Honestly, this place is addictive, and I can't seem to leave....realize this isnt much of a bio....but give me time, i hope to grow on you

This is the same message I posted to the OOC thread, but now that this thread has appeared, it probably belongs here.

Howdy. I'm HippieChick, been called that online and off since long before I had the long hair to match. I am a guy, and I know the nickname is confusing, but you try to argue with 10 years of traditionally having the name. I'm a grad student at Arizona State University where I teach algebra and am working on my Masters in mathematics. I fancy myself a writer (but in this crowd, don't we all?). I'm 22 years old and uh, gee, can't think of anything else to say.

I'm open to questions. I like questions. Dunno why.

Rashid don't worry about being on the far side of Fifty I know alot of players who have you beat. Besides wine grows better with age and a lot of our nubile young co-eds like a fellow with a few silver threads and a wealth of experience.
I am not that far from you myself in fact.

Ariosto is in RL a artist and an educator in the field.
He teaches at a college in the SouthEast but is a transplant from NewEngland and NewYork. He discovered Lit by chance one night around the first of May and as you can see by the posts, has been severely involved ever since. In part due to having the summer off.
If you need any advice or information don't hesitate to PM me.
And please come by the OOC club and meet everyone.

Hi Skylar (or Bob, if you prefer)!

The pictures you are referring to are called avatars, and you have to have 100 posts before you will be allowed to add one.

To do so, you would search until you find a pic that you like - size matters here....you can only have so many pixels. You would save it somewhere on your computer. Then go to the Control Panel above, and go down to the bottom where it says something about Avatars.

Then you basically just type in where the pic is and it appears.

But it's probably best to ask again when you near 100 posts.

A simple hello

Hello, all.

While this name is relatively new to the Board, I have posted here previously under another name (Whit00EK) but had to abandon it and all postings for several months.

I have returned (to those of you who may actually give a damn) and intend to pick up where I left off, if that is at all possible.

There have been sooooooo many improvements to my absolute favorite site on the 'net that I am nearly overwhelmed and will need some serious instructions as to how to take advantage of them.....any offers here? Hecate, dear, are you still around and about?
