So I am VERY late to the GoT bandwagon, but am really enjoying the show now that I have given it a chance. I tried a few years ago and the first episode was just a LOT of debauchery to take in. I spoke to some people and they said the STORY gets better as you go along, and it has!

I'm not sure why everyone loves Jon Snow so much, my favorite characters, not in order, are Tyrion, The Eunich, Jamie (sans his hand), Brien of Tarth, Arya, and The Man Who Has No Name. My favorite part of the show is "a girl" (Arya) and "a man."

Danyrus/Keelisa is pretty cool too.

Right now I am 4 episodes into season 6, SO NO SPOILERS please...

So who is your favorite Character?

What do you think of the prequel show that is to be coming out?

Great show, no interest in the prequels. I dislike having everything explained. I'm totally cool with not knowing or just vague references. Don't care how the wall was built, don't care what started the White Walkers, don't care how the houses were started.
I might be ok with something more recent that showed the downfall of the Targaryens maybe but even then I'd be hesitant.

I want a story JUST on the A Man With No Name..

I saw a compilation of dirty bits a year or two back.
Pretty tame.
GB is better.

I haven't read the books yet (I'm waiting until the show finishes up) but I'm a GoT freak.

My favorite characters are Margaery and Varys (the eunuch). Margaery is like the anti-Cersei. They both want the throne, but their psychologies are fundamentally opposed. Cersei sees someone who's an obstacle and automatically devises how she can hurt them. Margaery sees someone as an obstacle and automatically devises how she can help and/or placate them.

Varys is wonderful. He's the only one who actually puts the realm's best interests above all. And he's devoid of physical lust.

Any hopes for season 8?

Wayfarer in Westeros,
Ellie
