Ok I've setup my first submission and Looking over the boards i've seen it takes Months to get approved? Can someone Confirm this?

Hi Aaron Dazer! Nice to see a new name interested in the site!
Stories are approved when the site is updated. If you look at the Chyoo home page you can see that the last update was on July fourth. So, yeah, sometimes it does take awhile. The last couple of months have been especially bad. We are all hoping that things improve soon, but who knows?
If you want people to read your story, just put a link to it on these boards. Even if it isn't officially approved, threads can still be added to it and you can edit it as you please. The only downside is that sometimes when they do update stories can....well, disappear. If you've only got one or two threads it's annoying, but not a big deal. You just rewrite and resubmit. If you've got a huge story.....then it sucks.
I hope that you're not scared off by this and that you do post your story, I think a speak for almost everyone when I say a new voice is always welcome.

Thanks all. I'm working in SRP right now. I'm going to talk to the players about Using the story as a Chyoo story as well. it's in my Tag if anyone wan't to take alook. I've already got my first 3 solo postings in the Chyoo area.

It would seem like Chyoo would be perfect for some the stories on the SRP board as it would allow for multiple branches from any point. By using trusted status for the participants the flow would be good as all threads would be instantly approved.

I've added a couple threads to A Bet Leads to Domination at the Office, and have an idea for BDSM story that could be fun, but as mentioned, I didn't know if such a thing would even be possible.
Does anyone know what kind of software engine the site uses? There's stuff like Addventure out there, but I don't think that's what they're using on CHYOO.
