Jason had just moved in before the semester started. Due to an injury his at the beginning of his senior year he did not get the scholarship for soccer that he was counting on. This ment that he would have to go to a smaller school. He finished moving in and noticed a flyer on the wall anouncing soccer tryouts. He knew his knee was good enough to play on and figured it would be a good way to meet some of the students.
He showed up to tryouts and noticed that there were only girls on the field so he went to talk to the coach. She told him that there had not been enough guys interested at the small college to start a men's team. The few that wanted to play thought they were too good to play with the girls so they never played. He was going to leave but she told him that he could try out if he wanted to because legally they had to give him a chance. He figured he was already there and dressed so he might as well tryout. At least he would get to meet the girls on the team. The coach told him that he could jump in after the round of scrimages that were going on. As he watched he realized that he would still be able to hang with these girls. He was very impressed by the left midfielder though. He was actually wondering how she didnt get a scholarship to a much bigger school. Now the coach called the girls together to talk about what she saw and introduce the new guy trying out.
