New story tags

I submitted an edit of a story description about a week ago (still pending), but the strange this is when I click on the pending I can see that the story tags have been changed. This wouldn't be a problem except that the added tags have absolutely nothing to do with my story. Has this happened to anyone else? Anyone know why this is happening? I have deleted them before, but want to leave them alone now because I know if I fix it, the edit will take that much longer to go through.

So is this glitch just happening to me?

There have been a number of strange things occuring in recent weeks; descriptions disappearing, key words appearing out of nowhere, and a distinct delay in the time stories get put up. There have been no New stories put up today yet, for example.

I asked a question similar to yours last week about a description that kept disappearing every time I submitted it, and it was suggested that I put the description I wanted in the notes field. I did that but the story hasn't gone up yet.

I assume they must be having technical problems of some sort, and I would imagine they are aware of it given the range of depth of the problems, but I haven't seen anything in the site announcements section yet.

I think the description issue has been fixed. The last couple of stories I submitted kept their description after the submit button was hit. I think most of the problems lately are related to the addition of the story tags. There are probably some kinks in the coding that need to be worked out. I haven't checked to see if mine are messed up... maybe I need to go look.

I've heard rumors floating about that Laurel's been away (hopefully on a much needed and much deserved vacation), so that could be why there's been a posting delay.
