New story not listed

Hi, guys, I'm a first-time poster, long-time listener.

I am working on a series and submitted the first part late last week. It was accepted and shows a submission date of 12/14/05.

However, when I click on Stories & Pics>New> it does not show up, but if I navigate to it through Stories & Pics>Group Sex> and find it alphabetically, it's there with the "new" label.

Is this common? Is there someone I can contact to have my story listed on the "New" page?

This happened to me one time too. Just send Laurel a pm and let her know what the problem is and include a link to your story. This should get it straightened out soon.

I just checked a second ago and it looks like a bunch more 12/14 submissions are now listed as new.

Patience was never one of my strong points.

The Literotica database updates seem to operate in fits and starts, at least from time to time. You need to have a little patience here.

I saw it there.

I'm used to waking up and having all the day's new stories listed in the "New" section so it confuzzled me when I checked my submissions and saw that it had been approved, but wasn't listed as being new.

Part 2 is still pending so if it doesn't show up right away, I'll take a couple of deep breaths before seeing if it might have been lost.
