Story Line
Boss falls in love with secretary after she shows him a picture of
herself. He had never looked at her before even though they had worked together about a year- Her shining eyes, and those sexy lips, beautiful reddish brown tints in her hair. She looks so confident, so sure of herself. Taller and more dignified somehow. So all he can think about is that picture, and then her starts to look at her and realizes he always loved talking to her, and now looking at the picture and daydreaming about her he realizes he wants her-but she's married, he's a nice guy she's married to.
So the boss starts drinking with her best friend, and finds he has control over her best friend. Once the boss discovers the control over her best friend, he takes the secretary on a road trip, and thank goodness she doesn't remember.

I almost get the story idea. The mind control aspect seems completely vague, but what I find interesting is the notion that a photograph should evoke erotic interest where day to day contact had not.

I think it's an intriguing notion. The way that we men relate to images of women as an object of desire in and of themselves. In a photo, it is possible to convey emotions that a person may not be able to express in person. The motivation for this woman giving this picture of herself to the male lead suggests something, obviously. There are a number of interesting avenues this kind of storyline can take quite apart from the mind control aspect. From the start of your description, I was begninning to think it was the woman who had the mind control power -using the photo as a post-hypnotic key to activate sexual desire.

I think he means he's never looked at her 'that way' -at least, that's the only explaination that makes sense. A bit like having a picture hanging on the wall that you only notice one day by its mysterious absence.

Man opens an email and discovers a picture of a beautiful naked woman, head cropped off, just her body sprawled in a sexy position. He's instantly in lust with the woman, but doesn't know who she is. On her shoulder is a distinctive tattoo.

Later that week his secretary wears a revealing shirt, maybe still modest but reveals her tattoo. He's drawn to it and realizes where he's seen it before. Incredulous, he looks her over, discovering her body for the first time.

Everything the secretary does seems to be seductive. Every word out of her mouth, no matter how mundane, takes on a new meaning for him. Everything is different, but the same.

Okay so usual seduction story, usual lust story, usual in-love story. He wants to get her somehow. He finds someone, somehow, who offers him a powder or pill or something that supposidly will conk a person out and make them very, very suceptable to *any* suggestions. Excited, he takes it to work and slips it into her drink.

The man calls his secretary into his office and offers her a cup of coffee that he's prepared. She drinks it, and the change is almost instant. She moves differently, smiles differently, looks at him differently. He gets bold and tells her to do things, and she does.

Okay the twist. The woman is video taping the events. She set up a camera in his office before he got to work, one that he doesn't notice. The man that gave him the powder is her husband or boyfriend, and the powder is useless. The couple now has great blackmail material against him. He thought he was in control, but really they played him like a piano (sorry for that)
