New story/categories

I am asking other authors for opinions on story categories.

I posted a new story, chapter 1, http://www.literotica.com/s/female-sexual-response-internship-ch-01 and submitted it as Non-erotic.

It got entered in the Erotic Coupling category. Not surprisingly, it is getting killed. There are no couplings going on, no kissing, only clinical talk of sex and a ends with a tweak of a nipple.

I'm perplexed as to why it would be put into the E Couplings. Should I resubmit with an request for the non-erotic category?

It was in EC because Laurel the site owner who reads all our crap thought it fit better there since it was erotic in nature. Clinical or not, discussing sex is erotic to some.

NE is for stories with no mention of sex what so ever.

Sex-light is a tough sell here. You can get away with it in Romance, Non Human, Sci-Fi&Fantasy, and Novels and Novellas better than anywhere else, but it's still a tough sell. The stroke readers, who vastly outnumber any other group, are going to pan anything without bumping and grinding.

As to moving it, I agree with Tex. Even though it wasn't porn, the NE category is for purely non-erotic stories, and I think the description you offered crosses the line.
