I had a thought! Tadaaa... lol
I'd like to find 3 poets from here who don't usually participate in the STCs... They could be a panel... like Randy, Paula and Simon... LOL I was thinking of YDD and darkmaas to name 2.
I think it might be fun, and certainly informative/educational, for our entries to be judged. Not so much for a winner, but to point out the good and bad parts of our poems. And it would be honest and constructive and we would only enter knowing we would be judged.
I liked this last challenge overall. I'm not fond of Bob's but now I can write one. The best way to learn about forms is to write (and rewrite) them.
Jim has given me some good advice on Haiku. This stuff should be shared.
We would pick a title, and a form, and a date, and post them on a specific thread. Then, after the critiques are over and we've improved our work, we could submit them or not- as we please!
Any thoughts on this?
