New Sherlock

It's ok, but that guy is so cocky. Also it bothers me how they throw in the fast screen effects. Honestly that's not my type of show.

A cocky Sherlock...what a concept. It does require a modicum of intelligence to "get it".

Like the last season .... all flash and little substance. Not impressed.

What was Sherlock quoting at the beginning of the episode in the shark tank? Something about a conversation between a merchant and death

Some Arabic parable I think. Haven't been able to locate it.

I found myself yearning for the Jeremy Brett version of "The Six Napoleons."

I tried to watch the first one in this series and the montage drove me nuts, so I stopped.

yes. so excited to meet the third brother!

This is not canon!!!

Of course, because Jeremy Brett IS Sherlock Holmes!:)

It's Appointment in Samarra, which was also a book if I'm not mistaken. For you Harry Potter fans, it's kinda similar to the Tale of the Three Brothers.

But getting back to the OMFG moment of the show.....OMFG! I was totally not expecting that to happen. The episode was a bit too cute for it's own good, but I enjoyed it. Can't wait for the next episode.

The original story is link referred to the Agatha Christie story, Appointment with Death.
There is a beautiful version of that with Tim Curry in it.
