an explanation of my poem

I shared a love with a woman that meant everything in the world to me. I wrote poems that could rivaled the best of them... because of the passion that we had, and the love that brought us together. They say that light bulbs burn brightest just before they burn out, as did her love for me. So in my poem, I am not speaking of her actually dying.. just the love that we had. Thanks for listening.
