laurel, just checked on my stroy and saw the new pages that were designed after u log in...very nice...very easy to follow...when will the writers page be up...the website stated "test domain"? just curious...again nice work

Hi Christophe and all!

We're in the process of upgrading to the new member area right now. It would be great if everyone reading this could log in to their account and let us know if you have feedback or encounter any problems. At the same time, we're adding the new "Most Read" top list.

If previous upgrades are any indication, there should be a few bugs to work out before it's just right.

Thanks for catching the lame front page on Writers.Literotica.com. We've replaced it with a more suitable "coming soon" page. The new writers' resource is under development right now, and we expect it to be live, in some form, before the end of the year. We have some cool ideas. Even after it is launched, it will still be a work in progress.

Again, please let us know if you find anything strange in the next few days while we're working on the upgrade.

Problems

The new set-up looks nice, but as I posted in the thread just under this one, I can't seem to log into the story boards, just the BB. Also, I am apparently getting fatal errors when voting. Any ideas what I am likely doin' wrong, Laurel?

hi laurel, quick question...says your in san diego Ca, but the times do not correspond i made my post at 630 am or so but the time states 11am what gives?

Go to your "Control Panel" (at the top of the page) and under "Edit Options", check what time zone you have it set for. If it's set for your time zone, but the time is still off, let me know!

I really like it. Everything looks organized and professional. I like the page views. I notice that my poem has 20 page views, and each of my stories has 0. Not sure if that is a bug, since I recieved feedback for the stories.

Thanks for the feedback!

The reason that the times read shows zero is because your stories have been on the site for less than 24 hours. To save system resources, we couldn't have that data be updated in real time. In theory, the stats should update at least once every 24 hours. If you don't see the number jump up sometime before tomorrow, please reply to this thread and let me know. Maybe you could even let me know if it does update!

I'm impressed! I couldn't ask for an easier navigation, or more choices. You certainly do take care of your people!

I didn't notice anything that might look like a bug on mine, but I did want to ask about that e-book page. Any info on when that kind of thing will be up and running, or if you'll be taking regular submissions? Will it be for novels, or just short stories? Etc. Or am I getting ahead of you here?

Anyway, thanks for all the work you've put into this!

Excellent site update. This absolutely ROCKS!!!
Here's an idea:
In order for people to be more imaginative in naming their stories, how about a revolving view. Y'know, every time you click on the page it scrolls to the rear. I noticed this on another adult site IFriends.com.
