SO do we like EBW or is the ol'EvilBollWeevil peoples faves?

Personaly, I'd stick with EBW. Liked both of them about the same, but it's easier to remember the spelling on this name.

So you could go with EBW, but then the next generation of newbies wouldn't know what it stood for. Which might be cool, kinda mysterious. Or not. Up to you, bro. If I were you, I'd go with EBW, but I'm lazy. I'd shorten Laurel if I could.

EBW is blah, just a bunch of initials. EvilBollWeevil is weird, which is good. Plus it gives you license to make bug references. An EBW would look out of place doing that. And we'll still refer to you as EBW. I'm not typing out EvilBollWeevil every time. Especially when I'm tying to beat you to a post.

I agree with Mischka...

EvilBollWeevil is distinctive and odd (in a good way) which makes it more memorable. In my mind it evokes a voracious little bug chompin' happily on a cotton boll in a sweltering southern cotton field, and then I can't help but get the old song, "Those ol' Cotton Fields Back Home" stuck in my head:

when those cotton bolls get rotten, we won't be pickin' much cotton,
in them ol' cotton fields back home.
It was down in Looziana, just about a mile from Texarcana,
in them ol' cotton fields back home...

So I guess what I'm saying is don't trade your identity for a new hip set of initials. Remember when Kentucky Fried Chicken became "KFC". 'Nuff said, really, but just to reinforce my point: cherish your identity as the scourge of the Southern cotton farmer. Value your pestilence.
