It is however the users want to use it.

It's not a news app. It's a bunch of users posting about their interests.

Especially when the goal of "independent journalists" on the platform relying more on impressions than they are about the accuracy of their "news".

This is why every fucking thing people post starts with "BREAKING".....they aren't interested in a story.

I admit, I use it to see breaking stories worth looking at, but the news I get from it are from news sites, who have actual journalists doing actual journalism.

And yes, as flawed as that may be, there are not a ton of actual reporting going on in that tool.

My entire post? I didn't start this thread, I just acknowledge the fact that X has soared in popularity in the EU. I started a thread essentially addressing the same subject yesterday. It is also a fact that real people of political influence in the US hang out on X and I have no reason so believe the same isn't true in the EU.

My point was more that the popularity of X for news, which isn't a news*****, is not a good thing.

You reinforced that point.
