New Lord Of The Rings trailer

I was just wondering if anybody else have seen the latest Lord Of The Rings trailer?

I just downloaded it (I just love my cable modem!!) and watched it. And I have to admit that I'm looking forward to when the movie finally will make it to the theaters in the fall! It sure looks good so far!!

The first movie (The Fellowship of the Ring) is set up for this Christmas. They release the next two (The Two Towers and The Return of the King) each year at Christmas thereafter.

I've downloaded the trailer too. High speed internet is *very* cool From the trailer, the movie looks like a must-see.

I also downloaded the trailer to Planet of the Apes, and it looks pretty good too.

Well, Draco's kiwi and since they are filming it in New Zealand, he knows more than I do. He told me they were releasing the first one this xmas and the others the next 2 xmases after that. I was only referring to the first one in my last post.

Nope, I'm preety sure LOTR is Christmas. At least, that's what the trailer said. PLanet of the Apes in being released this summer, I think.

While I have seen "a" trailer, I can't say if it's the latest trailer or not, but I intend to ignore anything more about the film until it actually comes out or I could end up feeling let down by the movie as happened with the matrix.

I saw so much stuff about the matrix that when I got to see it, it was an anticlimax, this also happened to lot of people who went to see the phantom menace, they'd seen so much on TV and in trailer's that when they actually got to see the film they felt let down, so what I do now is see the first trailer and if I like it then I ignore and avoid all the other crap that get's pushed out about the film and just go see th e film for it's self.

I would have to agree with you on that point. Trailers are supposed to help the movie, but with movies lately they have been ruining the films for people....

It's not just the trailer's but all the other places you get bombarded with movie crap, like on the radio or TV show's, then there's all the stuff on the net.

You turn on the TV to watch a show about nothing to do with movies but before that come's on there'll be a mini TV show about movie's or the latest CD by some souless boy/girlband, Sky TV does this crap all the time over here in the UK.

Yeah they are slated to be released around each Christmas. They are doing cast calls for the Hobbit too. Apparently they are remaking that one as well.

Just saw the trailor awhile ago. Looks like it'll be a great movie. Hope that Jackson pulls off a decent adaptation with the final product.

My Starshine's birthday is the release date of the first. They filmed all three movies at the same time... Making it a most difficult and adventurous undertaking.
