I think even the DNC is now convinced the "Vote for me because I'm female" has failed twice.

But worse than AOC is where it seems to be going early on is Newsome running and some possibility of AOC as VP.

Two of the biggest reasons for the red surge in their states/cities being their ticket would be a disaster.

The Dems need to find someone new, a bit of an outsider who is on the rise and who can run without being saddled with woke ideologies and putting men in women's locker rooms and other insanity. They need someone center left/moderate not more of the same screeching preaching 'everyone is racist' bigot that's been their party for eight years.

I'm sure I'll take shit for it, but I'd say Fetterman. He can speak somewhat to both sides and that's what people are really looking for right now.

Doubtful. Americans won't vote for a disabled President again. Further, despite his recovery from his stroke, he's not strong enough to be effective in today's political world environment.

I also think Fetterman knows better.

Just a thought ideologically as in he's a moderate. I can't think of anyone else that fits that mold

Well, there's the senator in Mass that came out against men in women's sports, and you see where that got him.

Guy should swap over to the GOP. That would be epic.

I'm old enough to remember all the wailing and gnashing of teeth when Fetterman was elected. The cries of "he's not qualified" (obviously because he's handicapped) were epic.

I stood behind him then, and I will do so now because he's shown he has the strength of will to move forward and overcome his disabilities, but for him to even consider running for President is more than a dozen steps too far. The public will not support it. Especially since we're finally seeing one of the most inept Presidencies in modern history come to an end. In today's world we don't need a frail or handicapped leader and no one is going to choose to go down that road again. Or at least not soon.

The D's have run off all of their good people in favor of the strange and weird. There are no moderates left, only fruitloops. Case in point is Kirsten Sinema. I don't like her political views but at least she wasn't actively trying to destroy our society and yet the D's dumped her merely because she spoke out against the cancel culture mob mentality.

Until the D's rebuild their brand they won't be able to field a worthy candidate. People have seen them for what they are and they neither like nor support that BS.

They pushed Gabbard out as well, and it would be the best thing ever if she ultimately became the first female president. Republican president.

They saw what happened this election. They see the DEI going away, young people turning their backs on 'woke' they see their hate spewing media outlets failing, and yet....they keep doing the same thing.

Like Arthur says to Murray in the Joker "You get what you deserve"
