I think the past tense of "glide" should be glid. "Glided" sounds all wrong.

I've always hated "showed." I don't know why, but it sounds wrong.
 
They used to say "shew". Really. Up till the 1920's.

Three dictionaries and a CP and AP book do not help. Sorry. I would choose a better word, but glided is correct I am sure. Otherwise it changes to glade, and LOL you see the picture.
 
I guess it's better than levitated....unless you are going for the horror look....

that's a verb? I don't mean 'that' is a verb, but... you know... but if it were verbalized... or verbed, hmmnmm, got me on that one.
