I start work tomorrow. Any advice from anyone? Bear in mind that I work at Spencers, a novelty/sex place where they call cashiers "party hosts and hostesses" and they EXPECT you to be loud, boisterous, and act like you're at a party.

No, seriously Honey, make lists. Become a list freak. If they give you some fancy apron-y thing, put a pen and paper in the pocket and write down everything at first. Eventually most things will become automatic, but the lists will save you in mean time.
