New & Its sadly obvious

Like the heading, I am new. I've been writing for years but this is the first time I've tapped into my inner demons and added sex to my work. I posted a story and it's still pending. Not sure how long thats supposed to take. Would love some insight. Also, I would love to meet other writers, network and meet other people. Brainstorming is great too. I'm on my computer most of the day so you can't miss me. Look forward to hearing for some interesting people! I take all types!

If you're interested in meeting and talking to other authors of erotic literature, you're certainly in the right place. And yes, you're certain to meet a lot of interesting people here (though a trained psychiatrist might be inclined to use some other adjectives to describe some of us. )

Don't panic about the story processing time. Sometimes it can take two or three days - sometimes even longer. A couple days ago the whole site went down for some major maintenance, so the backlog and aftermath of that might be holding the admins up a little, too.

To quote some of her more famous responses:
"Usually three to five days. Up to a week if the editor's bleeding piles are acting up."
"Usually three to five days. May take up to a week if the story contains sex with sheep or renting of pigs."
" Usually three to five days. Sometimes as long as a week if the editor is out chasing cats again."

I'm sure you're right about that. But my understanding is that NZ has the world's highest sheep per capita ratio. Mind you, I've only heard that by word of mouth, so I can't vouch for it's reliability.
