I used to quite a bit. IM programs can be a lot more private than a general chat program (especially if you don't know how to create a private room on IRC). If you find someone you really like spending time with, I'd suggest it!

Yes...probably too much. But I use it to kinda get to know someone. Then I agree to meet them out at a safe place in public. If things work out then some fun sex hopefully will happen.
