Hi all , Im totally new to the site but have a little creative writing flair and would like to bring it out more. I havent joined any posts as most looked totally started and not sure if i could fit in.

Please let me know if there is any and what types of roles are needed.

There are new posts that start every day. Well...usually every hour! Some are closed, meaning that they are writen with specific writers in mind, but many are open for anyone!

There are also two Out of Character clubs on the board...Rick's Rooftop Cafe, and The China Pearl Inn. I sort of compare them to Chat Rooms, only they are not real time! They are casual places to sort of hang out, and meet some of the folks on the site. So, feel free to drop in on either one of those, and introduce yourself at any time!

I like to have fun whilst writing - if i can make friends with the person whilst writing that makes it even better.

Sometimes i can really fall into the role i play, not good but im being honest - which is one of my good points.


Can anyone help me out as to how i can put an avatar under my name when posting.

Spellcaster you just defined the essence of role playing ……..to become your character. Makes them believable, and lends itself to powerful writing. Best of luck and welcome have fun and enjoy.

Can anyone help me out as to how i can put an avatar under my name when posting.

easiest way (and the only way) to get an av is to post post and more posting. You need to have 100 posts to be able to get an av and it can be a pic of anything you want as long as it is no bigger than 150 by 150 pixels. if as what happened in my case you have a great pic but its a bit to big, just ask and somebody out there will crop it for you. (just remember to say please lol)
