I'm sorry if I'm doing this wrong but I'm trying to find a story that's disappeared from my favorites and index. I can't remember the title or author but I think it was "In Time". It was about this doctoral student who time travels back to when there were Neanderthals. A group of them take her back to the village, where she becomes the doctor. They could read her mind too!
She marries two husbands and adopts kids and gets pregnant!
Later, the village is attacked by royals for some reason. This is where I last stopped reading.
Does anyone remember the story or author by chance?
