Hey everyone! I hate to sound dense, but I find navigation here kind of confusing. Whats the easiest way to check if your story has been posted? Thanks in advance!!

Your submissions page.

Click on Submissions' and a similar screen will come up with the two options:
View
Submit

if memory serves me right.

Remember that it takes up to a week for a submission to be accepted.
And don't muck about with it! Or it will take longer- you'll be put to the back of the queue again.

I just posted it yesterday I was just wondering where I checked to see if/when it was posted. Now I just have to find my submissions page...LOL

Not to defame Kendo, cuz he's a great guy and an excellent writer, but his directions might not have been totally clear. I would add that he's talking about clicking the link that you'll see on the page that comes up after you've signed in.

And he's right. If you click on the "pending" link on a given submission it'll knock you to the back of the queue so feel free to admire your pending submission but refrain from monkeying with it.

Hello antfarmer. Welcome to the AH.

To find out if it's posted you can check under New Stories on the stories page.

Or.

Got click on the Search Members link on the stories page, enter your user name, click on the link that gets displayed and click on the Stories tab. If posted, your story will appear with a yellow N next to it.

Or.

Click on the Login link on the stories page. Then click on the Submissions link and then the View link. If accepted, the status of the story will read 'approved'.

I use the latter method myself. I have my 'View Submissions' page as a favourite to make it easy to check.
