sooooo....i submitted my first story yesterday (actually its the first erotic story i've ever written) and i was wondering how long it would take until it is posted.....sorry if this is a dumb question, just wanted to know. thanks much.

Hi mickey and welcome to Lit!

Stories can take 2 - 10 days to post with the average falling somewhere in the middle. The post times can vary widely depending on all sort of things (just don't get frustrated by the wait and hit the "submit" button again, that re-submits your story and you go to the back of the line and the wait starts all over ).

Here's a link for the Newbie Support thread (click here) and if you have more questions at any time, you will get lots of friendly answers.

You also might want to make sure you post a link in your sig to your story once it posts so people can find it easily.

Hi, Mickey. Welcome to Lit. You are right; it is a fun place to be. Your story may take longer to post now than at other times because of the holiday contest now going on. Unless it is a contest entry, in which case, it should have posted by now.

When I joined Lit several years ago, my stories were posted in a matter of a day but it's since gotten to be a much longer process. Probably because of the increase in popualarity and population of the website. So from one author to another, just patiently wait, Sweetie. sweet action

well, i'm in a very good mood today, i've gotten a lot of feedback on my story and almost all of it was good. i was soooo nervous about submitting my story thinking it wouldn't be erotic enough or that my writing style wouldn't be accepted well...but, guess its erotic enough and my writing is ok! sweet action. well, that was all the encouragement i needed, be prepared to hear another story about me and my professor friend here within the next week. until then, thanks for your help and support! you guys rock my socks right the fuck off!

thanks winemaster. i read your comment, its good to know that someone liked the characters, especially since one of them is me and the other is my incredibly scrumpcious professor whom i saw last night (and will be writing about again this weekend!!)
