This perfectly explains why I hate Republicans so much. They're not as loud as feminists but their sexist bite seriously exceeds their bark.

New Bill Could Allow Florida Doctors to Refuse Treatments for Women, LGBTQ Patients

A newly introduced religious freedom protection bill would allow Florida medical providers to legally refuse service on the grounds of "religious or moral convictions."

HB 401 – filed Wednesday by Florida Rep. Julio Gonzalez, a Republican from Venice – would allow health care providers to refuse to treat a patient or administer medication if the procedure is contrary to the "religious or moral convictions" of the facility or health care provider, according to the bill.

A quick reading of the bill looks like it would protect an EMT or paramedic from liability if they refuse to treat or transport a homosexual if they claim it's against their morals.
Hopefully those who do make it to the ER with arterial bleeding can hold out for another doctor to come in who doesn't think queers are icky.

I say we put them to the firing squad if they refuse to treat someone based on their idiot morals. A few North Korea style public executions using anti-aircraft guns will convince the rest to rethink their lives.

You're kidding, right? Tons of them will die before they get to the ER, much less wait for a second doctor.

Forget the AA guns, how about we just slit them and hang them upside down and bleed out in public. Like a chicken.

On a serious note, just fucking yank their medical license if they pull that shit.

Gosh. Suppose Rep Gonzalez had a nasty multi-injury traffic accident and the parameds who showed up recognized him and just left him there, hmmm?

If your "religious or moral convictions" prevent you from performing your job then quit your fucking job. Work or get fired.

Tell that to the 2 Muslium truck drivers who were fired for not delivering beer.
They sued and won. Go figure.

They didn't sue, the EEOC did and anyone with a couple firing synapses knows it's not nearly as simple as you're making it out to be.

It's really that damned simple.
