I’m looking for some feedback:
Most recent chapter of my Non-Con series was considerably less sexual than previous chapters.
It’s well rated (but don’t know if that’s just by die hard fans?) but I don’t know if it’s too much ‘lit’ and not enough ‘erotica’

It was the final chapter but there will be spin-offs and I want to check I’ve got the balance right?

Well, wouldn't that require one to read the other ten chapters first? Or is that last chapter a kind of stand-alone one?

It would be helpful, but I guess without reading the previous 10 I’m asking if the chapter on its own has enough erotica or if it’s too much story waffle?

Well, I've read the first chapter and will start the second next . . . Let's see how far I get!

Alas, I have "real" business to attend to first, but I hope I'll be able to send you some feedback next week. Okay?

Huh? No such thing coming, don't worry.
Sorry, what I meant was-I wasn’t expecting anyone to take a lot of their time up to read and send a big review. Was just expecting someone to glance over and send a quick bit of feedback.
Don’t worry!
Have a great day,
G

I liked it, the unsexy bit was necessary for the plot so don't sweat it, end scene was very sweet but ended quote abruptly.
Thanks for taking the time to read and reply :) I agree about the end quote. Struggled with that and probably should have sought advice from an editor or someone first

So, GreenandGolden, I've finally come around to do the write-up, some 2k words in total. I think it should get through the moderation system in the next 24 hours. But, be forwarned, there's not much praise in it—precisely because I didn't find much to praise in it. Honestly, I'm really puzzled by all the positive (public) feedback you have received. When I read comments like this one by LunaScarlet,
You are the creator, and free to end it as you please, don't be discouraged by some commenters that browse the Non Con section looking for HEA stories... One of the things I loved about this series was that you showed life as it was, keep going!
I'm really starting to wonder if I've read the same text as these commenters, for one, your story is a HEA story (at least a—strongly—implied one), and hardly could there be an assertion further from the truth than that it "showed life as it was" as it most consistently confirmed to the usual standards of silliness of contemporary romance.

But I'm getting ahead of myself, so I'll just leave it at this for now.

If you should have any questions, feel free to ask them here in public or by more private means if you so prefer. I'll have no qualms answering them, for I stand by my opinion and critical judgment.

Hey :) yer I’ve emailed you. I saw the comments before this forum and didn’t think to check before I sent a response. Didn’t think you would reply in both places.
Well, then you were mistaken! :)

I've answered to your email a moment ago. Since you chose that more private route, I think it's only natural for me to follow suite. I consider my feedback—"harsh," "rude," or whatever—to be constructive though, for I pointed out specific passages in the text that might be problematic. Of course, everybody is free to define "constructive feedback" just as they like it.

Thanks for taking the time to read my comments!
