New chain story- Anyone interested?

Okay, I've read the other link you posted, and I think I have an idea of how we can proceed.

We pick a name, any female name will do for now, and we make her the protagonist. For fun I'll call her Diana Troy for now, Dye for short. Now Diana Troy is a college student majoring in psycology, and hoping to become a psyciatrist who deals with sexual aberations in the future. For her doctorate she needs to write a thesis with just such a theme to it to garner her professor's favor. To this end she decides to take a job and join a troup of strippers for the entire summer vacation period, one that allows her to travel all over the country to different strip joints so that she can observe, and participate in every sexual aberation conceived by humans, and that is allowed here at Lit. To be faithful to her thesis she keeps an explicite diary of every adventure that takes place throughout her journey.

In this way each author can write about what they want to, and where they want it to take place, and all in the first person POV. There would be a set group of women to work with, and plenty of newcomers to suit any author's situation. The hard part will be the first entry, as they have to introduce the group of girls that Diana Troy will be touring with, but even that can change as things do in real life, someone may leave, so another is added as the story goes on. I suggest using no less than 6 girls plus our Diana Troy. There can be just as many regular strippers that work at each location, but our girls are the visiting team, and only work in any one location for just one weekend, or at the most a whole week giving the local girls those weekends, or that week off to spend with their families on a vacation. So in effect our ladies can fuck their way across America, and get paid for stripping at the same time. And in this way Diana gets everything she needs put into her diary for her thesis by the time this is finished.

There are strippers, and porno stars who actually do this all the time. All of them are over 18, and that's all that counts here. I've talked to some of them at the Bush Gardens up in Anchorage when I was doing a bit of research on an unrelated story while living up there. Never did understand why they called it the Bush Garden, as most of the girls shaved their pubic hair off. LOL But I can tell you this, any one of them could have been a Penthouse Pet of the year. Which is probably why they made so much money doing lap dances, and such. Of course every troup has a chaperone, and she also is the manager of the troup, usually over thirty, not unattractive herself, and sees that they aren't on drugs, or hooking on the side. She gets paid by the promoter who sponcers the girls, and he gets paid by the clubs, bars, etc. who invite them to come and entertain. The girls get paid strictly from what they take out on the floor dancing, or up on the stage, and half the cost of their non-alcoholic drinks that the customers buy for them to sit in their booth. In any event the believability factor is there, with plenty of room to embellish what our imaginations can think these girls into. Now I'm not saying that the real life women who do this are promiscuous, but the idea that they are is prevelent in our society, and easier to fit in our required joint diary venture. They certainly dress the part of a tart to perform, and that is adventagous also.

Now I could start the ball rolling if no one else wants to, but I'll leave that up to those who already volunteered for this joint venture.

I've searched through my original entries, and i can't find this miss-spelling anywhere. I've read a few pedantic replies to posts before, but this is the first time one's been fabricated. Or can I just not find it?

I like the name too. In favour of keeping it.

If we're going to use Diana Troy and the six (more or less) group of strippers in all of the stories, I think we should come up with some character definitions.

MG, It isn't about milk cows. It's a milk products multi-million dollar company and Dye is the only heiress. We've got standards too.

I vote for CM not changing her AV all of next week cos I like this one too much.

Now for the question - Will the stories actually be 'Dear Diary' types? As in the diary format? Or will they just be written in a story format by Diana?

I agree with DP about them being only Diana's entries. I vote for keeping this thread the active one (maybe Dear Diary should be added to the subject if that is possible).

I'll keep the AV up for a bit. I like the mischievous look on his face, lol.

Oh, and yes, we do need to agree on the format.

I posted this in the other thread, but I will post it here if this will be our main thread. The FAQ has this to say about chain stories (for those curious about how they work):

A Chain Story is one in which several (3 or more) authors collaborate to create a story on a specific theme or topic. The first author writes the first chapter of the story according to the theme or topic. The next author reads the previous chapter and picks up where the first author left off, continuing the story as he or she sees fit. And so on, and so on...until the last chapter is completed.
Chain Stories are a special category on Literotica. To start one, you must do the following:

1) Post your idea to the Author's Hangout in the Bulletin Board and round up any interested authors who would like to participate. If you already have a group of writers who are interested, then continue on to step #2.

2) Once you know how many authors are interested, you must get a schedule together of who will do the first chapter, who will do the second, etc. Then, you must decide how much time will be between chapters to allow each author to write their piece. We suggest that you leave no less than 4 days, but no more than 8. A week is generally a good amount of time, but it's all up to you!

3) The first author should create a story submission called "Chain Story - [Name of Chain]". In this submission, paste in the title of the chain and the schedule of who is doing which chapter(s) and when they'll be submitting them. If you've been planning this in the Author's Hangout and have posted the schedule there, you can simply paste a link to the thread containing the information into the story submission. We ask that you post the entire chain schedule before submitting the first part of the chain.

4) The first person submits his or her chapter to us, selecting the category "Chain Stories". Any story which is submitted to "Chain Stories" without following these steps will be moved to whatever category the subject matter dictates.

Some thoughts on this:

1) No problems with the name. As this appears to cause no disquiet I suggest we stick with it.

2) Suggest possibly that Diana is actually a graduate, who falls into friendship with a stripper / porn actress (flatmate?), and follows them on tour mainly because can't find a job, and the money has run out. This means it can still start now, and run in real time, rather than waiting for summer, or jumping ahead.

3) She goes along as an assistant and observer, but sees the opportunity for future post graduate research and/or a book on the way. That way she can begin as an innocent, and gradually get more and more daring.

4) There is no need to spend the first entry introducing all the other girls, we can just use it to set up the situation. The flatmate is all that is necessary to begin with. An introduction to the others would be made gradually, as she gets to know them. Perhaps all in name only in episode two, with a couple in slightly more detail.

5) I think we have more than enough people on board to get the ball rolling. I'll wait another day (that is until 9am Lit time) for aany further embellishments or objections, and then write the first one.

6) I'll post it here first for general perusal and criticism, and then submit it under the character name, if you waant thiss to be a joint effort. I'm happy to be the central submitting point for the group, if that's okay with everyone, but if people would rather submit under their own name (for competition purposes) then we'll do that. Shouldn't we have a schedule or something first? And what about the cateogries everybody is interested in?

We submit it under our own names! Of course it will be a joint effort but will be submitted by individuals. This means that the story each person writes will appear on their memberpage. The thing which ties it together will be the title. So we need to think of a title.

Get the straightforward stuff out of the way before we start to get kinky, and to me voyeur is kinky (unless we're just talking video or some such). I wouldn't call merely observing stripping voyeur myself, but I suppose some would. If you elaborate a little more on the plot you had in mind I'll be able to see if we clash.

A thought just occured to me; could she be a fan of this site, or 'coincidentally' choose similar chapter headings for her book? We could then use the lit categories as chapter headings. The overall chain story title would have to be catchy, though, otherwise it might look a little dry.

I can go first, second, or whenever...

It doesn't matter to me, just so long as the schedual is posted, and each author is kept up to date with a PM reminding them again when it's their turn to log in a story. The first story is very important in that it sets the stage for all future stories down the line. Dear Diary is as good a main title as any and holds a cohesion better than most for this kind of thing. Again the first story has to include the authors names involved, and the schedule for each author. The authors should submit their stories for this chain story under their own name as well for credit in the survivor series.

Damp if we do it Cahab's way Diana won't have to get involved right away, so that still leaves you good for the exhibistionist thing. The first chapter has to set the way for every story that follows, and while each of us has our own voice it will be easier to match it with the first writer, and so on as the story builds through the different layers of Diana's own personallity as she grows.

Now I think it's time for Cahab to assign the order once we have all of the volunteers for this chain story, and since she is going first, and this was her idea in the first place that she be in charge of the schedule, and the first chapter. She'll need to confirm the schedule with each author before submitting anyway. And posting the schedule in this thread is a good way to do that. The main title could be something like "The Diary of Sexual Aberations," and each story within titled by the catogory of lit that the diary is dealing with. Just my thoughts on the subject.

I was thinking about Voyeurism, not exhibiotionism. I guess the first time she'd have to observe rather than getting down to it with the others just like that. Well, observation and arousal and perhaps masturbation would classify it as voyeurism. That's what was in my mind.

Are we going to do a non-erotic story? Cahab, if you're doing masturbation or non-erotic, I don't think we're clashing. But there could be masturbation in mine as well as voyeurism. That is if no one else has any objection to my taking voyeurism in the first place.

About headings and such, are we writing a book or diary entries? I mean, it has to be a lil more clear. I'm a little confused. According to what I understand she is going to write her research about various types of sex and her adventures, not strictly in the diary format, which will LATER be used for a book. I don't see why she cannot use Lit.'s category headings as her own.

Can we all choose a category? Bcos I guess that's a little necessary for where we occur in the order. After we get out preferences down, Cahab could put us all in line.

I'd like to do Exhibitionist and Voyeur with stress on the Voyeur part. That is, others are going to exhibit and Dye is going to do the voyeur-ing (and possibly masturbation).

Well to be perfectly honest I am not fussy what I do...I'd prefer not to do a lesbian theme(it's just not something i do well) but everything else i'm game.....

Does it really have to be Diana Troy the psychologist? I'm having star trek next gen flashbacks (where Deanna Troi-pronounced troy is the ship's counselor) and I write Next Gen Fanfic...and it's just too annoyingly close. If it has to stay Diana Troy, I'm gonna bow out.

Well, my reason for calling on the categories was to make a kind of a progression from innocent to kinky activities with our Dye (we can change the name DN, I dont mind). For example if someone in week 2 is writing food fetish and someone in week 4 writes first time, it seems really weird.

A couple questions.

I understand that 'survivor' and other contests forced people to write for each lit. category.

In the chain story description, it simply says a theme. So is it not possible to run through a list of wild and kinky things-- somewhat different, each chapter-- and not be bound by the list of 15 or so lit. categories?

Second, isn't the idea that each chapter builds on what's gone before? So wouldn't that mean that after ch 1, one wouldn't try to get the chapters written independently? i.e., the ch 6 person should know at least what's in 5, if not all previous?
