I am considering creating a Chyoo story. Can anyone give me some hints? I've got a storyline and a general idea of how things work, but don't want to have to re-invent the wheel.

when you do write, basically write the story for yourself. By that I mean, enjoy what you're doing and produce something that you are proud of.

How complex can a story get? Can a thread split infinitely, or is there a limit? I am considering something fairly complex, so I want to know if I'm going to have to scale it back.

Hey,
I am not sure where you can find the actual Chyoo rules. But as far as what you're asking. The site limits the number of options from each thread to be 4. There are ways around this, you can look in these forums. You might have to go back a month or two.

So this is how it looks.

Introduction
- Option 1
- Option 2
- Option 3
- Option 4

then each option can have 4 options and so on. basically the story map goes (1 thread) - (4 threads) - (16 threads) - (64 threads) and it could go up to infinate, I guess. I don't think there is a limit.

Take at look at this story:

It is the largest most complex story that I know of. I can't imagine having the time to go beyond this.
