New author wondering how long submission approval takes

I'm pretty excited about posting stories, but it's been several days since I submitted and they're still marked "pending". Any idea how long I should expect to wait? Thanks!

Currently, due to abnormally large numbers of submissions, the wait is a week. New authors get a little extra scrutiny, so a week and a couple of days isn't unreasonable at the moment.

It will get better eventually, and then it will get worse again LOL That's one of the things you have to learn to live with in exchange for the largest readership for erotica on the 'Net.

When is someone going to make a sticky of one of these threads

or

When are persons going to start reading the writer's resource and FAQ stuff before posting threads like these...

Almost as bad as the comment threads.

Anytime there is a contest on, non-contest stories will take longer to post. They'll get there!

And don't click on anything while you're checking. If you do, your story goes back to the end of the queue and you have to start all over again.
